The fantasy flick centers around Cindy (Garner) and her husband Jim Green (Joel Edgerton), a childless couple desperate to have a baby.

After many failed attempts of natural conception, they imagine what kind of child they would like to have and bury all those wishes in a box in their backyard. Soon a mysterious child is born, though Timothy Green is not all that he appears.
